Rileigh's first walk

Monday was an absolutely beautiful day, in the low 60's and sunny. I decided it was a perfect day for Rileigh and I to take our first stroller ride. We walked through our neighborhood and then across the street to the next neighborhood. We walked about 4 miles.

Rileigh was out like a light after the first half mile! The car has the same effect on her.

Splashing to the marina

We heard a twittering in a tree and looked up to see a squirrel enjoying a nut.

The marina was clear as we stepped out onto the pier. We walked out to see the boats and as we were walking back the fog really started to roll in.

Puddles!

Last Sunday it was to rain all day long but mid afternoon it stopped so we put our boots on and went off to splash in the puddles. We've had so much rain this winter the ground can't really absorb anymore so it just runs into the street making good puddles!

Landon has a love of foilage. He picks up all kinds of stuff and puts them into his pockets. He has a gumball and "tree rocks" which is what I call berries so he doesn't think to eat them.

Tools

Landon seems to think Rileigh needs to have these tools while she's sleeping in her swing!

Frozen sand

It was warmer today, in the 40's. After I picked Landon up from Nana's I let him play outside for a bit. He got very frustrated with the sandbox because the sand was actually frozen!

A snorting bundle of joy

It's cold here so we bundle up when going out. Rileigh went to school with me today. I had to get district band stuff together. She's been congested, the doctor said likely from being a preemie and it will get better. I got a cute video today of my little snorter! You can hear the dogs in the background playing.

The dentist

Landon had his first visit to the dentist on Tuesday. He was so good and did everything Mrs. Saint and Dr Bradshaw asked him to do. He got his teeth checked and polished. Dr. B said he has beautiful teeth. He got to pick out a prize when he was done and what did he pick?? A rubber worm, of course!

Fuzzy socks and the computer

So I have these fuzzy socks, that I rarely wear because once I hit the hardwood floors at the bottom of the stairs I go flying. However, Landon likes to wear them when he naps! He's pretending to be sleeping in these pictures!

My kids minus one. Buddy wouldn't get in the picture, silly wiener dog!

Landon loves the website www.kneebouncers.com. It's cool stuff for toddlers to do. He also likes to watch dump trucks in action on Youtube! He's a real computer wiz!
