Friday the 13th

So, I picked Landon up by 3:45 and we went to the park for a bit this afternoon. It was chillier than yesterday, about 50 degrees. We had on lightweight jackets so we didn't stay long but we went down the slide, walked to the water and threw sticks in the mud since the tide was out, and then wandered around picking up more sticks! When we came home I walked the dogs while Landon wandered about the backyard picking up more sticks!

After we came in, we had some goldfish while dinner cooked. Landon ate all but one of his tortellini and I made quite a bit! He also had tomatoes and dip dip which is ranch dressing. He wanted to get a bath then so we played in the tub for a while. He only slept for an hour this morning at Nana's so he was getting tired. When he kept doing things he knows he's not supposed to do I decided it was time to go upstairs. We often put him in our bed to fall asleep when he's not quite ready to go down. He watched Wheel of Fortune and had his bot-bot. He went to sleep at 7:30!

I have a dress rehearsal tomorrow morning in a town an hour away for a concert tomorrow night at the same place. I'll get to see Landon in the afternoon but not the whole day. It's to rain and be colder so no outside for us tomorrow! I'm so thankful I have Monday off to spend with him!

Afternoon fun

So all of the sudden stupid blogspot won't let me write captions at the top of the first picture. Annoying! Anyway, can you find Landon? I walked the dogs when we got home. After I put them back inside Landon was hiding from me. This picture was taken from the deck on zoom!

Ahhhhh, smelling the daffodil. Yes, it's February 13 and our daffodils are blooming!!

Sticker fun with the Spiderman stickers Grammie sent!

My boy

So I often complain to Rob that Landon loves me but doesn't like me! Silly, I know but Landon runs to meet Daddy at the door, often wants Daddy to give him his nightly bot-bot, and other little things like that. However, the last few nights it's been about Mommy! He wants me to carry him upstairs, wants me to give him his bot-bot, and wants me to play with him. He was so sweet last night, patting my head and smoothing my hair! He has learned how to blow kisses and each morning as he's in Daddy's car and backing down the driveway, he blows me kisses! I love that boy like nothing else in my life. I am looking forward to tomorrow because I can actually leave work at 3:00 and go get him. Since it's staying lighter a bit later in the evening we'll have more free time outside to play! Plus no school on Monday for President's Day! The whole day for me and Landon, yea!!

Next weekend will be awesome. We're meeting Grammie and Grandpa for the weekend! The place we're staying has a pool. Landon loves to take a bath so he is going to love this pool. It's superheated and so warm! We will all have a great time together!

Finally.... food!

When it got too dark to play, Landon finally ate some dinner!

At the park

Landon with his sticks!
A really big stick. I have a cute video to add later of him dragging this stick around!

Pine straw! My kid is a true outdoors man!

He played very briefly on the playground. He's much rather walk the trails and pick up foilage!

A Beautiful Day!

The high yesterday was 75 degrees! So we spent as much time as we possibly could enjoying the day. For Landon this included refusing to eat lunch! He just wanted to play.
Digging in the flower bed.

Helping Daddy wash Mommy's Yukon!

Monkey see, Monkey do!

Talking with Grammie

Landon was talking to Grammie on Saturday night.
That is until he decided to play Grammie music by pushing different buttons on the phone.

Grammie decided to do it back to him and he's looking at the phone like,"What the heck?" He then hung up on Grammie!

Landon and the Dogs

This video is from a couple of weeks ago but Grammie will appreciate what Landon does in part of it!

Can't a guy get any privacy?

Bath Time Fun

Just a cute bath time video. Landon does a bit of his fake laugh near the end!

To the playground!

Landon doesn't like to go down the big slide by himself yet, but he loves to crawl all through his playground.
Sticks in hand of course!

Coming through!

Landon was on the top level and I was standing on the ground. He was just taking in the view. I love this picture because it shows off his cute little cheeks!

More outside

Dr. Livingston, I presume?Yes, this is my son, dusting the backyard! And, yes, he's also measuring the backyard!

Outside on Sunday!

It was so warm here yesterday (Sunday afternoon) that we spent most of the afternoon outside playing! We started out with the dump truck and the bumblebee in the driveway, just going up and down the driveway. Then we got in the wagon and went for a walk to find gumballs!
Landon's giving his bumblebee a kiss!

Nope, not an airplane. It's the moon! Landon pointed to it and said, "Moo!"

Phew, long walks make a guy so thirsty!

Many faces

Whatchew talkin' 'bout Willis?Hey!
Aww, I'm just teasing!

Outside... Brrrrrrr

Landon likes to pick Lamb's Ear and rub it on his cheek. It's so soft!Playing with the bumblebee!

We were so cold by the time we went inside. Even though his fingers were little blocks of ice he wouldn't wear his mittens! He still didn't want to go inside!
