I have been so busy this week. Band camp ran 9-5 but I was getting to school at 6:45 so I could work on the drill. I am so tired at night after getting home at 6-7 that I can't work on it then. Phew! I have one more song to do this weekend. Next week will be even worse for me. I will have teacherly duties from 8-3 and band camp from 4-8. I haven't taken a picture of Landon since the s'mores!
He is saying more and more words. He likes to say, "See you tomorrow." He also likes to say bye-bye to things, like "Bye-bye house," when we leave in the morning. He got his hair cut again, nice and short and he looks so cute. When I got home yesterday about 6:15, he was in the front yard with Daddy and he ran full steam ahead to me when I got out of the Yukon, yelling, "MOMMA" the whole way to me. I got a huge neck hug and some pats on the back plus a nice kiss!

Mmmmm, s'mores!
I wanted to make s'mores one night, so we did! Landon did a great job of toasting his marshmallows!
The rain chased us into the garage to eat them but Landon sat on the tractor with Daddy and wasn't too upset at not being outside!Hangin' with Brayden and Anna
We went back to MawMaw and PaPa's for another visit with Landon's cousins. Here they are playing with bubbles!

Hot Day Fort
Can you find Landon in our fort? There have been some really hot days here. Coupled with the rain we've gotten the skeeters are really bad. Landon is a skeeter magnet. So while we're not outside as much as he would like I try to find fun things to do inside.

Cape Hatteras
We checked out the lighthouse which Landon liked. Then we decided to drive on the beach. It rained hard for a few minutes. Landon and Rob got out of the Yukon while I waited. It wasn't lightening so it was safe. We stayed there for a few hours while Landon played in the sand, water and with shells he found. It went from overcast and rainy to partly sunny. It was the best beach day we had.OBX for the weekend
I'm really hating blogger this morning so comments will be short. We went to Rodanthe this weekend. The weather was sometimes good and other times way too windy to be on the beach. These pics are the first day there (Friday) and we got pelted with sand so we only stayed on the beach for about 20 minutes. We hung out at our cottage instead.
