Party Pics

Landon checking out his cupcakes. He finally blew the last two candles out after sticking his finger in each cupcake!

Bubble Mower! We'll try it out with the bubbles tomorrow.

Hi!

Opening presents. Landon got clothes, new rain boots, an umbrella, books, trucks, a sprinkler, and....

..... a new bike! The seat lifts up for storage! He doesn't quite get the pedals yet but we haven't taken it outside yet. He went down for a nap shortly after these pictures were taken and slept until 8:30 p.m. when I had to wake him for more Motrin!

Birthday Boy!

Landon had a tough start to his birthday. He'd been having on and off over the last 36 hours a low grade to high grade fever. We decided after our family doctor never called us back this morning to go to the ER to have them check Landon out. They determined it's viral and he should be ok in a day or two. These pictures are after we got home and had a little snooze.

Landon enjoyed a tractor ride and then a wheelbarrow ride.

Playing in the yard with Daddy.

The water was cold but I think it felt good on Landon's hot little body. We tried to limit his activity but that's hard on a nice day for a boy who loves being outside!

Mmmmmm, I like green peppers! You better grow a lot in the garden, Momma!

Poor Mac

So Landon has two dogs, Mac (below) and Buddy. They are mini-weiners. Mac tolerates Landon very well and is quite protective of him. Buddy, not so much. Buddy doesn't really like Landon but he was abused in his former home so he's very skitterish. We watch Buddy and Landon very carefully so there's no chance of Buddy ever biting Landon. Now, Mac is very tolerant. Mac has had his tail, ears, legs, and pee-pee (I know, eeewwww!) pulled on and has had his toys taken away by Landon. Yet, he always protects Landon Joe. So last night, I'm cooking dinner and Rob is washing dishes. Landon was playing with his newly found eggs with Mac by his side. You never know when a crumb might fall to the floor! Landon takes off into the living room and Mac is left sitting alone by the sink. It would appear that Landon had dressed Mac in his little Easter egg carrying basket! This dog is an angel!

Egg hunt at home

So we didn't actually put together an Easter basket for Landon. He got plenty of candy at Aunt Mai's. I wasn't going to give him candy anyway. The Easter bunny did leave him a few things; a new truck coloring book, some parachuting bunnies, a Spiderman beach ball, and a pair of goofy glasses. The bunny also left him some eggs when Daddy and Landon were playing outside. Here are a few picture of Landon finding his eggs. He was so funny. As he'd see one he'd say in his sweet baby voice, "Ooooohhh!"

More Hunt Photos

Kissing my new little cousin, Meli.

This is me and my big cousin, Ray.

Aunt Mai reminding me to look now and eat later!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to Aunt Mai and Uncle Roger's house today for an Easter Egg Hunt. Here is Aunt Mai helping me find eggs.

There's one in there, I see it!

I found some eggs on my own too!

Aunt Mai was an awesome helper! I liked to open the eggs and investigate the contents of the egg before moving onto to finding the next one!

More eggs!

Good Friday

I love the tractor. Momma took me all around the yard on it this morning! Of course, we didn't mow, just went for a ride & I steered us right into the lilac bush. I like to smell the lilacs! These are my shark flip flops Grammie bought me. I like them!

I like to try and go up the slide instead of down!

This is a butterfly thing you stick in the garden but I would much rather carry it around!

More pictures, what else?

Ok, Momma, I'm just going to sit here and wait for the tomatoes.

Hiding under the cedar tree.

Me? Nah. I'm not gonna stick my hand in the dirty bird bath water.

This picture makes my Momma laugh!

I'm such a handsome little man!

Our Saturday

We walked down to the pier this morning. It took 30 minutes to go about 300 yards! Landon had to walk on the retaining wall, then pull the wagon, then fill it with more sticks...

We finally made it and had fun looking at the boats. Some guys were repairing the far end of the pier so we couldn't walk down the slips.

The day ended after we met Daddy and went to the mall. We saw Grandad and Lola and had lunch with them. We went dishwasher shopping. Then we went to Lowes and Smithfield Gardens. Landon fell asleep in the car. I put him down for a nap when we got home which was around 4:30ish. It's now 8:45 and he's still sleeping! Phew! Shopping wears a guy out!

Grandpa was here too but I didn't get any pictures of Landon with Grandpa. Well, good ones. I had one but Grandpa might beat me if I posted it. He was looking rather alienish!

Walking to the pier

Landon loves boats. We walk often to the pier in our neighborhood to look at the boats.

A boy and his dogs, again!
