New flip flops

We were supposed to go to Grammie and PaPa's for a visit but Landon has another cold. He has had a bit of a fever though Motrin and Tylenol have kept it down rather easily. So, in an effort to keep him cool we went shoe shopping. But we just had a meltdown in Target after getting our new shoes so we came home and took a nap. After his nap, he felt better so we went for a walk and played in the sandbox. He actually wore his sunglasses most of the walk!

More sandbox fun

Landon had fun yesterday with his pool. We filled it with water and he filled it with toys and occasionally himself.

Landon loves his squirt bottle. It can amuse him for 30-45 minutes at a time.

It was hot in the sun so I pounded the beach umbrella into the ground to provide shade for Landon's sandbox. It worked wonderfully!

I found this on craigslist last night. The lady said first come first served when she replied so we hopped in the car and drove an hour one way to pick it up! She wasn't home so her daughter helped us get it in the Yukon. I didn't know we left a blue bucket attachment so this lady is meeting me on Sunday to get the bucket to me. Landon loves it!

Fake Laugh!

Landon did this fake laugh thing after eating an entire bag of Swedish Fish! Too much sugar perhaps. This was on the drive home from the beach.

It was a bit windy on the beach!

Hot Dogs!

This is today at lunch. Landon wanted a hot dog. He also had one for breakfast, plus an entire egg, plus a whole bunch of grapes! Yesterday at lunch he ate his hot dog AND mine!

Yesterday at dinner. Not hotdog but pasta and french fries. Oh and a pepper. A whole one! This is after his haircut. Doesn't he look handsome?

Helping Momma

So yesterday we cleaned the Yukon out. I had quite a little helper!

Landon, did you do that?

Landon had a peanut butter sandwich, some jello, and a donut for lunch (hey, it's summer!). I needed to leave him for just a few minutes. This is what I came back to. I asked him, "Landon, did you ball your food together and make this mess?" He said, "No."

Dishes and pee-pee

I just suggested to Landon that he might be done washing dishes and this was the look I got!

So as he raised his bowl at me, I told him to carry right on washing!

Landon tried out his new potty chair today. No pee-pee yet but when he does it will play music! He thinks it's rather funny to sit on the potty!
