It's a ....

Landon is going to be a big brother to a little sister. It's a girl! Her name is Rileigh Melissa.

Knobles Videos plus two extra

Landon loved these airplanes. Listen for his laugh as it whips him around the corner. He is in the orange airplane.

Landon also really enjoyed this inflatable bouncy thing.

Landon found PaPa's ear protection on the lawnmower and wanted to wear them while we went to the store. I am driving in this picture but it's at the lake so I'm going really slow. When he hears a song on the radio that he likes he dances. This was so funny.

I thought he was done dancing but he wasn't so I captured some more!

More Knobles Fun

Knobles Grove

We went to Knobles Grove for a day of fun. Landon is telling us how to get there.

Landon and MawMaw rode the roller coaster!

PaPa and Landon on the big slide. His leg got turned around as they were coming down so it rubbed against the metal slide and gave Landon a boo-boo. All week Landon said that PaPa gave him the boo-boo, not the slide. "PaPa do," he'd say when we asked how he got that boo-boo. Poor Papa!

Driving fun!

Our trip to Maw-Maw's and PaPa's!

Wow, PaPa has a lawnmower too and ear muffs!
(Blogger is back to not letting me post above the first picture.)

Landon and his new baby.

Going down the slide at Rec Park.

He might kill me for this picture later in life but sitting on the potty in the Grandparents living room! He's been doing pretty good on the potty.

Mooching food off of PaPa.

YEA!!!!

This morning at approximately 8:22 a.m. Landon went pee pee on the potty! YEA! He woke up with a dry diaper (actually, I woke him up early since Nana is coming to take him to a movie this morning). We went downstairs and he sat on the potty for a while and then tada! He pee peed a little bit but not enough to make the music go off and then suddenly there was music in the middle of Curious George. He got a big grin and we high fived and yea-ed about peeing on the potty! He's wearing some pull up's now though we've been wearing them! I guess the potty will travel to Grammie and Papa's with us this week! YEA!

Landon's sibling update

I had my 18 week appointment yesterday. The baby is measuring perfectly for 18 weeks and "his" heartrate was 138. We scheduled our big ultrasound for July 27 at 9:30 am. We will find out the gender then. I've gained 6 pounds total and my blood pressure was 100/64. So all is looking good. It was nice to hear the heartbeat though I've been feeling the baby moving for about a month now. The little kicks are getting stronger and I'm noticing them more when I'm moving and just not sitting still. Landon knows there's a baby in my belly and will give it kisses but he doesn't really get it yet! Not that I'd expect a two year old to get it! He's going to make a great big brother, he's very sweet to his little baby cousins, Anna and Bethany.

Fun with the hose!

Just a nice day...

We decided to have lunch on the deck. The weather was so nice, not hot and not humid.

Dessert was an ice cream bar! Yum!

Chuck E. Cheese

These are a few shots of our time today at Chuck E. Cheese. We just went to play and $3 actually goes a long way for Landon! He doesn't look like he's having fun, he's rather intense but he did. We didn't eat there, it's expensive and not healthy. So we did a "picnic" in the Yukon after getting a salad from Wendy's. Well, he had a cheeseburger too in addition to sharing my salad, and his oranges!

Landon's new haircut

Landon spent the night with Nana last night because I had to be at school to host a DCI group and then I went to the show. She cut his hair super short which I wanted! He looks so cute but his front cowlick sure does stand up straight!

He has some lambs ear leaves in his hand. He picks them and rubs them on his face and mine. They are very soft. I asked him to say cheese and this is what I got! We're getting ready to go to Chuck E. Cheese.

Another "Cheese!"

Sparklers!

Happy 4th of July! I thought Landon was too young for sparklers but he knew to hold them by the end. He would say, "hot, hot hot" while holding them! He had so much fun with them!

We had an impromptu party at our house with Rob's family. The little cousins played in the kiddie pool and sandbox, hence Landon is in a swimmer diaper in these pictures!

You can really see his cute little farmer tan in this picture.

Busch Gardens

Landon liked these boats too and rode them several times with Gabe and Sarah but wanted to ride them again. So he rode alone. I took this video just before they stopped the ride just for him because he wouldn't stay seated. He kept trying to look backwards and sit on his knees. Oh well! He didn't seem upset when I took him off and everyone else got to keep riding!

Busch Gardens

Landon liked the lady bugs and he rode them several times.

I think Landon rode the swings 6 times! We also rode the baby log flume and the dragons but since I rode those with him, no pictures. We climbed on the big climbing thing and went down the really long slides many times too. Again, I was with him so no pictures!

Gabe, Sarah, and Landon

Busch Gardens

We went with Aunt Angie, Lauren, Jordan, Sarah, Aunt Susan, Uncle Alex, and Gabe to Busch Gardens yesterday. It was so crowded but the weather was nice, not hot at all with a bit of a breeze. We had fun on the different rides and only one serious meltdown! Landon did very well without a nap. We got home at 9 pm and had a bath and were asleep in his bed by 9:30!

Riding the airplanes with Jordan

This was taken before the stupid ride lady made Lauren get off because she was too tall and then she made Landon get off. So we had to wait in line again with Jordan because the lady wouldn't let Jordan take Lauren's place. Landon didn't understand and was so upset. Clearly this woman has no children, she was an awful lady.

Two slide videos from the playground

Playground by the zoo

Zoo

Landon's next favorite thing were the goats, I think because he could pet them.

He was trying to give this one a kiss. He also tried to give a chicken a kiss.
