The caramel apple

One very tired boy on the way home. He was asleep just as we turned out of the parking lot!

IoW Fair continued...

Landon liked the tractors.

Petting the sheep. Landon liked the monster truck pulls too though I didn't take any pictures. It was loud! I think his favorite part was taking his shoes and socks off to play in the sand pits of the horseshoe pits! I think he was in those for at least an hour. He didn't ride any rides.

Isle of Wight County Fair

Landon really liked the elephant. He and Maw Maw fed him too.

This pony ride lasted for two trips around the circle before he wanted off. He ended up with the biggest pony. He kept saying, Whoa, Whoa, with each gait of the pony. Too bumpy for him I think.

Landon happily petted this pig until the goat beside it decided to baa loudly. We couldn't convince Landon that it was the goat and not the pig.

He really liked the chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. I wish I could've have gotten a picture of his face when the roosters crowed!

Finally...decorated!

This is the airplane mobile PaPa made for Landon.

I redid the wall appliques and put them around the top of the walls now that Landon has bunk beds.

These are the cross stitches that Maw Maw made for Landon.

Landon checking out the mobile.

I'm so glad his room is finally done. Now, just to start Rileigh's. Ugh, the thought isn't a fun one! Too much work!!

YEA!

So I'm putting this here because I can't find my phone to call Maw Maw and PaPa and this is exciting stuff.... Landon went poopy on the potty! We were watching Curious George and he had the "look." So I asked him if he wanted to poo poo in the potty and he got all excited and said yes. And he did! We high fived and danced! He was so pleased with himself. Now if we can just get him to tell us he has to go instead of watching intently for the "look" we'd be good to go. YEA for Landon!!!

My little Penn Stater

Since none of my Penn State gear fits over my belly, I made sure Landon was dressed appropriately for the PSU season opener today. I love how his little eyes disappear when he says, "Cheese!"

So today, I'm baking peach and raspberry cobbler (yeah, I know, I don't know what's gotten into me, but you should see the mess I made and now have to clean up. I made curry chicken with rice noodles for dinner too. I'll blame it on the pregnancy hormones) and Landon decided that all of his toys needed to be brought into the kitchen. Here he is taking a break to eat his snack out of his Spiderman bucket. He insisted it go into the bucket. He is so funny.

Bath time!

Landon has these cool fizzing things that turn the water different colors. Usually, it's blue, tonight, red!

He has soap on his head and is saying, "Cheese, PaPa!"

This is Rileigh at almost 26 weeks. She is sitting rather low! I would like to say that neither the shirt or the skirt are maternity! Therefore, I'm not 'that' big!

Landon's new bedroom set

Landon's last night/morning in his crib.

First night in his new bed.
We put pillows along the rail as he can get his knee stuck in between the rail and mattress if we don't. He loves his bed and goes to bed readily each night!

It's been too long!

I'm sorry I haven't added new pictures, especially for PaPa!

Landon had a great week long visit with Maw Maw last week. She came at a good time for us! I had teacher stuff and then band camp so I was leaving about 7:30 am and getting home about 9:00 pm each night. Maw Maw really worked with Landon on his potty training and he's doing really well. This morning his diaper was dry and he went right away on the potty. Now if we can just get Nana to be on board with sitting on the potty a lot during the day, this might go pretty well! Maw Maw took Landon for ice cream and slurpies and to the store. I know he had a really good time with her!

I have a few pictures of Landon in his new bed that I promise I will get on here soon. School has started and I went to bed at 9pm last night. I woke up feeling much better!

Rileigh is growing well. I will be 26 weeks on Friday. She is sitting pretty low and is quite active. I won't have another ultrasound so no pictures of her until she is born! Let's hope she's a cutie like Landon was! I am tired of people asking me my due date and then asking me if I'm having twins! I'm not that big and I've watched my weight very carefully. I've gained about 12-15 lbs depending on the day! Much better than the 25 lbs I'd already gained with Landon at this point!

Landon is continuing to talk up a storm and amuses us daily with his facial expressions. He is so stinking funny. He now says "Shoot" when he drops something. Too funny!
