Landon and I have a lot of fun together. Like today, we went grocery shopping. Landon made a fun game of writing on the back of my shopping list with my lava lap pen that Grammie gave me. Then it was a game of turning the pen on and off, finally morphing into his really fun game. It was me grabbing the shopping list out of his hand, Landon taking it back and throwing it onto the floor. He was laughing so hard at this he gave himself the hiccups. Other shoppers were laughing at him laughing. I was laughing so hard I was wheezing. He was so good while we were shopping though he did throw his two cars and one of them went under the shelves and I wasn't crawling under to get it. When I did look for it under there I couldn't see it anyway. We bought bananas and he had one while I paid and got his coat zipped up.
I've really enjoyed watching his little personality develop and watching him turn into a little boy.
He loves:
*bananas
*his cars and trucks, esp. the heavy PSP ones Grandpa gave him
*bot bots (yeah, I suppose I should have him off of the bottle by now but what's one before a nap and before bed time going to hurt? He does drink from a sippy so I fail to see the big deal!)
*bunny
*stuffed Curious George
*huge stuffed monkey
*bear that plays "Lullaby"
*AIRPLANES but only when they are in the sky!
*cheese
*baths and the bath crayons
*throwing stuff in the trash can, mostly stuff that's supposed to go in the trash can!
*going outside to play
*sticks
*his camo rain boots
*when Daddy comes home from work
He hates:
*getting his diaper changed
*when I won't let him climb on the back of the couch
*being told no in any form
*when I sit in his Redskins bean bag chair
He's such a good mannered child. He doesn't really fuss when it's time to nap or go to bed. Some nights he takes my finger and leads me to the gate to go upstairs. He does that a lot, taking my finger and then leading me wherever he wants to go, like the back door or the pantry! He's not really saying a whole lot of words that we understand, a bunch of babble that clearly means something, we just not sure what. He does say some words very clearly though. I often tell him to enunciate!
I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow so we have another day to hang out together! He's up from his nap now so time for more fun!
