Feet and Firetrucks

So Miss Rileigh has found her feet. She's doing that super cute baby thing, curling her feet as close to her face as possible turning that cute booty for all to see. She has yet to put a foot in her mouth but she's getting close. She's laying in bed beside me cooing and blowing bubbles. She needs a bucket under her chin. She's like a fire hose when she really gets her bubble machine working. Speaking of fire hoses...

...On Saturday I took Landon to the fire station to see the fire trucks. I wasn't sure any of the firemen would be there but there were three outside chatting when we walked up. The older man agreed to show Landon the firehouse and the trucks. Landon got to sit in each truck. One of the other firemen turned all of Engine 52's lights on for him. He was most impressed with the spinning three light one on the front of the truck. We walked all around and looked in depth at the ladders, the outriggers, the tires, the hoses, and the boots and helmets. He had so much fun and fireman Mike was so kind to give us a tour.

After our tour we went for ice cream. Landon chose sherbert and insisted I try some of his. After I tasted it, he asked me if I liked it, "Good? Mommy, good?" He is so so so sweet and I love him so incredibly much.

Rileigh has stopped blowing bubbles now and is just wiggling. The t.v. is off as well as the lights. She's winding down to go to sleep. She doesn't suck her thumb but the first two fingers of her left hand! She's eating cereal everyday now and just tried pears and liked them. She's amazing and I love her so incredibly much too. I am really going to miss her when I go to Chicago on Weds. I'll be gone for four full days. I'm taking my pump and pumping every three hours to, hopefully, keep my supply up. The goal is to pick right up with breastfeeding where we left off and it's been going well!
